During our retreats, we encourage vulnerability and compassion within a heart-based container where profound transformation unfolds, this time held by the fertile Catalonia mountains and countryside. We weave together traditional indigenous plant medicine ceremonies with a trauma-informed, somatic therapeutic approach.

Fertile Darkness is a one-time feminine pilgrimage and medicine retreat designed to restore your connection to the Great Mother, reclaim your womb’s wisdom, and heal your Motherline through story, song, somatic practice, and Shipibo ceremony.

This intimate plant medicine retreat now unfolds in a beautiful luxury venue, nestled gently in the Alt Penedès countryside—just outside of Barcelona. Set within a lovingly restored Catalan Masía, the venue is embraced by forested hills, vineyards, gardens, a saltwater pool, a finnish sauna, and sweeping views of Montserrat and the Mediona valley. Here, the land itself becomes our sanctuary—a peaceful, fertile, supportive setting to explore nature’s beauty as we journey alongside our family of world-renowned Shipibo Maestros and a deeply experienced facilitation team.

Together, we reclaim our capacity to descend into our wombs, touch our hearts, and channel our voices in our personal relationships and our creative paths.

Together, we will remember what it means to meet and hold our bodies, emotions, dreams and intuitions with the care of the Mother.

Together, we will journey into and touch our own Mother wounds—through personal and guided explorations, as well as communion with Grandmother Medicine.

Together, we will remember the gold and red threads of awakening through the female body as the Black Madonna and the Feminine Christ, especially as woven through the songlines and storylines of southern France and Northern Spain.

This all-inclusive women’s retreat includes 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies, with the sacred medicine grown, harvested, and brewed by the Shipibo family you’ll be working with from the Amazon Jungle of Peru. Your private retreat experience offers daily yoga, breathwork, Peruvian Despacho, visits to sacred sites, embodiment practice, sacred plant baths, integration circles, communal activities, and a highly experienced facilitation team dedicated to holding space for your process. Meals are all organic, locally sourced, and lovingly prepared to nourish both body and spirit—harmonizing with the wellness ethos of our luxury retreat in Spain.
